Conditions and controls for admission of students with disabilities:

Out of Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University's belief in empowering individuals with disabilities to join higher education, enabling them to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to build their futures, achieve their aspirations, and enter the labor market—and in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's attention to this group—the university offers opportunities for students with disabilities to enroll in the university. This can be through programs specially designed for them or integrated with their peers in available programs. A specific number of seats in those programs are allocated based on the type and condition of the disability, following organized regulations and mechanisms. These students are exempt from National Center for Assessment (Qiyas) tests, in coordination with the Unified National Admission Platform of the Ministry of Education.

Application and Admission Conditions:

1. The applicant must be a Saudi national.
2. The applicant must be registered with the Department of Education under the category of students with disabilities.
3. The applicant must hold a General Secondary Education Certificate.
4. The high school GPA must not be less than 80 out of 100.
5. The applicant must apply through the Unified National Admission Platform at the times announced by the Ministry of Education via https://www.uap.sa
6. The applicant must provide all required documents for application review.
7. The applicant must pass the personal interview.
8. The applicant must pass any university-required tests.
9. The disability must fall under one of the types listed by the University Affairs Council, for which exemptions from Qiyas tests apply, with supporting documents from the “Noor System” proving the disability.
10. The type or severity of the disability must not hinder the student from performing the essential skills, daily duties, and assessments required to complete their academic program.

Programs Available by Disability Type:

Programs are offered based on disability type, either through specialized preparatory or academic degree programs. Certain students who demonstrate sufficient ability for independent learning may be accepted into standard undergraduate programs.
