Instructions and Conditions for Applying for Admission to the academic year 1444 AH

Aplications start and end date follow announced time plan, and the whole process to apply would be through the Admission Portal at www.iau.edu.sa.

These instructions are for applicants whose data are incomplete in the electronic transaction system (Yesser) or non-Saudi students.

 The required documents must be attached according to the following:

1. Saudi students who obtained a high school diploma from schools not linked to the Ministry of Education system (Noor):

A clear copy of the high school diploma for levels 10, 11 and 12 must be attached to the application in PDF format.  The GPA for high school will be entered into the university admission system, and you will receive an e-mail to implement your request, then you can start submitting your application.

All admission procedures are done electronically and there is no need at all for the student to visit the university.

2. Non-Saudi students from a Saudi mother:

A clear copy of the birth certificate must be attached to the application in PDF format to verify the applicant's data. After that, you will receive an e-mail to complete the application in the system.

3. Students applying from the Gulf Cooperation Council:

A clear copy of a valid passport must be attached to the application, in addition to a PDF of  Qiyas center card to verify the applicant's data.  Thereafter, you will receive an e-mail to complete the application in the system.

4. Students holding five-year cards (displaced tribes):

A clear copy of the proof extracted from the Ministry of Interior must be attached in PDF format (and the proof is not authorized for working) to verify the applicant's data. After verifying your data from the university, you will receive an e-mail to complete the application in the system.

5. Non-Saudi students:

A clear copy of a valid residency must be attached in a PDF format to verify the applicant's data.  After verifying your data from the university, you will receive an e-mail to complete the application in the system. ( Incomplete application will not be processed)


Terms and Conditions of Admission

1- Nationality-related Conditions:

  • - The Applicant must be Saudi or has a Saudi mother.
  • - It is required for the acceptance of the internal scholarship for non-Saudis, or displaced tribes:
    1. The Applicant age should be (17-25 ) years old.
    2. The Non Saudi applicant should have a valid Iqama.( The nomination would be  according to the available seats for each nationality after the approval from the Ministry of Education). Non-Saudi students are required to pay the tuition fees for all the academic years which is (9200) riyals per academic hour in addition to the VAT.
    3. The displaced tribes applicant should have a valid Iqama or any equal proof from Ministry of Interior and the competitive selection would be according to the available seats from Ministry of Education.
    4. The non-Saudis, or displaced tribes Applicant must not be nominated in another Saudi university 

2- Secondary School Certificate-related Conditions:

To apply for all other programs except health tracks: The applicant must have obtained the Saudi General Secondary school certificate or its equivalent during the past five years. That is no prior than 1438/1439 AH.

 

3- The student must have done the GAT and SAAT tests provided by the National Center for Assessment and their grades are documented in (Yesser) governmental program.  The test must be less than 5 years old.

 (Note: The result that appears to the student during their application for admission is what will be considered during application assessment.)

4- The student must not have an existing or previous record at Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University.

5- The student must not be enrolled or accepted in another Saudi university.

7- To Apply for Health tracks:

  • -The applicant must be Saudi, or has a Saudi mother.
  • -The applicant must pass the professional fitness examination from the University's Family and Community Medicine Center.
  • -The applicant must have obtained the Saudi General Secondary school certificate or its equivalent in the current year 1442/1443 AH or the previous year 1441/1442 AH.

8 - Special Conditions for Admission to the College of Sharia and Law :

- Obtaining a percentage of no less than 80% to enter the competition.

- Passing the personal interview.

- Students who graduated high school in science track must have SAAT to submit their application including  applying for the Collage of Sharia and Law.  Weighted percentage for College of Sharia and Law) will be calculated as: 50% of the high school average + 50% of the general aptitude test score.

- Female students are allow to apply for the (Sharia program only), and the weighted percentage will be calculated as: 30% of the high school average + 30% of the general aptitude test score + 40% of the achievement score.

9- Special Conditions for Admission to the College of Education track:

Passing the personal interview.

 

 

Acknowledgment

I, the applicant, acknowledge that I have read and read the above terms and instructions

 I certify that the information included in the application is correct, and in the event otherwise, the university has the right to cancel my application

 I, the applicant, acknowledge the necessity of entering the website and looking at the application to know the result of admission, when announcing the results of each batch and doing the required according to the admission regulations of the university. And that failure to enter the site (to follow up on the application) during the period of announcing the results will lead to the closure of my file and consequently, my failure to enter the competition for the subsequent payments.

In the event that you are nominated for admission with a desire lower than your first desire and you have completed all your nomination procedures electronically and approved the declarations and pledges form and filled out personal information and other required information, the system will automatically enter you into the competition for the higher desires in each subsequent batch and you do not have to activate the application

In the event that you do not complete all your nomination procedures electronically within the specified period for each batch, your file will be closed and your application canceled and you will not be entitled to compete in subsequent batches

 In the event that you are not nominated for admission in any batch, your application must be activated and in the event of failure to do so, you will not be entered into the competition in the subsequent batch

I know that if it turns out that I am accepted at another university and I do not withdraw within the period of finalizing the electronic procedures for candidates specified in the timetable, the university has the right to cancel my admission
